Student Success Projects

Washington State University is committed to providing a transformational experience for our students, as called for in our Strategic Plan. In committing to student success projects through the strategic reallocation process, WSU aims to support students at all levels through multiple avenues.

Transformational Change Initiative ($7,395,267 over five years)

The Transformational Change Initiative is a merger of two proposals, one aimed at freshmen and the other at upperclass students. The freshmen program is aimed at building resilience, purpose and growth through both faculty support and parental interventions. The program for upperclass students will integrate peer mentoring, programming and advising to move students into increasingly experiential learning opportunities. The project is a collaboration between several colleges and academic support units across multiple WSU locations. Stay tuned for more details on this project.
