Many members are previous recipients of such grants and awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/daesa.wsu.edu\/awards-and-recognition\/faculty-support\/smith-grants\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/daesa.wsu.edu\/awards-and-recognition\/faculty-support\/smith-grants\/\">Smith Teaching and Learning Grants<\/a>: The Samuel H. and Patricia W. Smith Teaching and Learning Endowment is to help \u201crecognize and reward innovative ideas to enhance learning and teaching at WSU.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/provost.wsu.edu\/awards\/presidents-distinguished-teaching-award-career-track-faculty\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/provost.wsu.edu\/awards\/presidents-distinguished-teaching-award-career-track-faculty\/\">President\u2019s Distinguished Teaching Award for Career Track Faculty<\/a>:&nbsp;Career track faculty at any rank are eligible. Two awardees expected each year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/provost.wsu.edu\/awards\/sahlin-faculty-excellence-awards\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/provost.wsu.edu\/awards\/sahlin-faculty-excellence-awards\/\">Sahlin Faculty Excellence Award for Instruction<\/a>: Tenure\/track faculty are eligible. One awardee expected each year. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/daesa.wsu.edu\/awards-and-recognition\/faculty-support\/law-awards\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/daesa.wsu.edu\/awards-and-recognition\/faculty-support\/law-awards\/\">Richard G. Law Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching<\/a>: Awarded each year for outstanding teaching in WSU\u2019s University Common Requirements (UCORE) program of general education. Faculty at track or rank are eligible. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the Provost\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/provost.wsu.edu\/awards\/\">Awards page<\/a> for additional university level awards that, among other criteria, recognize teaching excellence.
