Dr. Melanie-Angela Neuilly (Ph.D., Rutgers University, 2007) is the Interim Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development. Her main responsibilities include training and development activities for department chairs and directors; New Faculty Orientation and the new faculty seminar series; faculty professional development activities; serving as the Provost’s Office liaison to WSU’s ADVANCE program; and collaborative partnerships with faculty groups dedicated to faculty development and improvement of faculty life.
Dr. Neuilly is an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at WSU. Neuilly conducts comparative research on violence and violent death. More specifically, she is interested in issues surrounding measurement and data collection processes, particularly as they pertain to medico-legal practices of classifying death.
