Book Club
In fall 2023, the Teaching Academy Book Club will read and discuss Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education: Strategies for Teaching, edited by Rita Kumar and Brenda Refaei. The book offers discipline-specific approaches to creating more inclusive classroom experiences, and connects with the theme of the 2023 TEACHxWSU conference. By participating in the book club, we hope participants will learn about inclusive curriculum design and implementation. Book club participants will also have opportunities to reflect on teaching and to work with colleagues across campuses and disciplines.
