Book Club Awards
Book Club awards recognize faculty who successfully implement Teaching Academy Book Club topics and/or strategies into their classroom teaching.
Applications for the current award cycle opens January 1, 2026 and are due March 27, 2026. See link to online application form below. Awardees are announced in late March or early April.
Criteria for Eligibility
- Participation in the Teaching Academy Book Club.
- Demonstrated successful implementation of Teaching Academy Book Club topics and/or strategies into their classroom teaching.
Award
Awardees will receive $100.
Application & Review Process
- Timing: Applications are due March 27, 2026.
- Applying: Complete the self-nomination form and click “submit.” *Submitting the nomination form indicates that you have read the above Criteria for Eligibility and agree to them.
- What to expect: Information solicited in the online nomination form:
- Applicant contact information and details about role at WSU.
- Two 300-word reflections on: 1) How you will apply this year’s discussion and 2) What new practices have you implemented.
