The Office of the Provost provides comprehensive support for faculty recognition, advancement, and professional growth through a coordinated portfolio of awards, policies, and development programs. Our office oversees an annual systemwide faculty awards program that honors excellence in teaching, research, service, leadership, innovation, and engagement. We establish and administer university‑wide promotion and tenure policies, ensuring clear, consistent pathways for career advancement aligned with WSU’s mission. In addition, the Provost’s Office supports faculty development through mentoring, leadership and teaching initiatives, and professional learning opportunities that strengthen faculty success across all career stages and campuses.
