About ATLAS

The Washington State University Aspiring Teacher Leadership and Success (ATLAS) program is a collaborative project between the College of Education and Office of the Provost, funded by a US Department of Education TRIO Teacher Preparation grant. ATLAS supports increased college retention and graduation rates for eligible students and fosters an institutional climate supportive of the success of students from low-income, first generation backgrounds and those with disabilities. The program provides individualized services, financial aid, and support resources for program participants as well as advocacy for underrepresented populations.

WSU ATLAS is 100 percent federally-funded at $232,265 annually through the Department of Education.
