Instructors are now able to submit Z grades at midterms for students who have been absent for an extended period of time but have not withdrawn from the course.

The Z grade is accompanied by the last day of attendance. It is for internal use only, and appears and functions as an F on transcripts. The Z grade will appear as an F to the student.

Midterm grades are to be submitted by faculty for students in undergraduate courses by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27.
